Purdue University majoring in Computer Science and Engineering.

As an engineer (software engineer), Ferry Unardi felt he was not too confident to start a startup business. He thought logically and decided to pursue his Masters in Business at Harvard University.

After completing his undergraduate education, he decided to work at Microsoft, Seattle. He works as a software engineer. After 3 years of work, Ferry thinks about the difficulty of being the best at Microsoft. This thinking is natural for employees, because employees will approve a career. Because Ferry was happy with his work, he tried to fly to China to find new motivation. The results of his thinking are industry travel and transition.

when Ferry was 23 years old, he decided to step out of his comfort zone. Ferry saw that at the time, Startup in the ticket reservation field was a startup that was still booming and becoming a trend. Many investors are competing to enter the ticket reservation startup industry. Ferry thinks he will be left behind, if he doesn't start immediately.

Still for a semester at Harvard University, Ferry Unardi was interested in developing a startup. He chose stratup in the plane ticket search engine. Initially Ferry, had difficulty when ordering tickets for America - Indonesia. Starting from a solution to solve its own problems, Ferry developed an airplane ticket search engine with more modern, flexible and practical technology.

Many things must be learned by Ferry when starting Traveloka. The toughest challenge is how to manage a team that expels 8 people into dozens, Many things must be done as a new company, including creating a corporate culture and building solid management.

In addition the problem is also present, because many airlines are not willing to cooperate with Traveloka. Ferry tried to convince airline companies and also improve the customer service system (customer service).
